There is a way to fulfill your every desire. It is by saying, ‘Excuse me God…’ Yes, you can speak to God and ask him for whatever you wish. This communication with God is what is called ‘prayer’. It is the telephone number of God. Just pick it up and talk to Him. He listens. Anywhere, anytime. And then He answers. After this call, you won’t have to solve problems; you will see them being solved automatically!
Prayer is the world’s greatest power that has been given to man even before a difficulty arrives in life. It is the secret invisible solution to every problem. Through prayer, not only can the desires of the mind be fulfilled, you can also attain the supreme goal of human life - Enlightenment. In case, you are saying you have tried it and haven’t got the results, you will come to know why. You will also learn how to make your every prayer effectual.
Faith is the world’s greatest vibration, due to which prayer yields results. Within each of us is the power of Supreme Faith, which needs to be awakened at the earliest. You first sow some seeds, only then you get a crop. This is the straightforward law of nature. When you sow the seed of faith, in return you see your wish being fulfilled in an amazing manner. Missing links in Spirituality
Seeker: What are the missing links in spirituality?
Sirshree: First, understand how a missing link is created. How did a given thing start? How did the world begin? When such facts are lost, a missing link is created.
When you start a project, try and recall how it begun? It is when people forget the beginning that they need to remember the missing link.
In spirituality, it is always said, “Do your deeds, but do not entertain the desire for the fruits (results) of those deeds.” When people hear this, they forget the missing link in the statement – the missing link is that you should not expect the fruit from the channel (the means or route) or the individual whom you may have helped. You can expect the fruit from God, who is present within those you are helping. The fact is that you are always dealing with God whether you are taking or giving. He alone exists. He is the source. You can always expect from Him. Due to the disappearance of this missing link, this statement ceased to be effective, and did not lead to the requisite result. People stopped following this teaching assuming it was impossible to follow, or that it was possible only for a few, or that it was not for them. People committed this first folly because of the missing link. The second folly they committed was that they stopped believing in this approach. Due to this, even the opportunity of spotting the missing link was lost.
Whenever something begins, many other new things get associated with it. After some time these new things begin to attract us and we get engrossed in them alone. In such a situation, the original purpose is lost. Then after some time, a preceptor (parkhi: one who can see) comes along and reminds us of the missing links in whatever it is that we are following. In order to grasp these missing links, we must always ask ourselves how the thing actually began.
When India was under British rule, Indians united and fought for freedom. When the British left, the responsibility of running a new nation came to the fore. The people were assigned various posts ..new things began to happen. The focus that had been on the British now began to shift towards these new developments. People started vying for positions in the government, only thinking things like: This person got the portfolio that I was not given. It would have been fine if that other person had got it. But this person is worse than me! Yet, he got it, not I.
At such a time if someone were to remind them of the missing link, everything would change; all the follies would automatically end. Missing links are meant to end this foolishness that could otherwise make people fight to death with each other and stray from the true purpose. While fighting for freedom, the intention was the welfare of the people. That intention is the missing link. Most people forget about this vision that was to be realized after attaining Independence.
When a day with a connotation such as Independence Day comes, people are again reminded of the missing link. It is then that people are reminded of the true purpose behind that event. When the link of a subject is absent, its very foundation is lost. It is then essential to get a reminder once again. The question is what is a missing link. A missing link is one which, when lost, leads to loss of the intended outcome.
People perform meditation, penance, chanting etc But if they do not grasp the missing link in these, then they do not derive the benefit for the efforts put in. If you want to derive the full benefit from something, first ask yourself about its original purpose. We need to grasp this through contemplation, study and questioning. One day there will be a retreat conducted here called the Missing Link Retreat. In in there will be a discussion on the missing link in everything, so that people are able to progress in their life keeping those missing links in mind.
Learn the art of carrying out all activities in the world with complete Understanding of why this world was created. May the purpose with which you have come to this world be fulfilled! And let the expression of that very truth take place through you. Always keep this desire in mind and grasp every missing link of life.
